Indeed. Ye know, being a mod developer, I truly envy the visual aspect of Dear Esther.
Though most probably applying that to a multiplayer scenario would either need an extremely fast PC or it would FPS lag like shite.

Wow, that is great! All the trees and the lush green - I don't remember those in Dear Esther - would be an interesting change indeed. Such a contrast to the other areas - I hope they'll put it in good use

Aww man, that texture work is crazy! The shading, the atmosphere, wow. I'd say as a viewer, this is a truely awesome peice of work.
