I quite like that piece, it's simplistic but with a nice atmosphere. Love especially the colours in the sky, there's a nice variation and feel to it 
The only thing that bothers me a little is the smoke. It feels really rough and monochrome, plus you don't really get a feeling for where it is in space. And across such a large distance it would probably diffuse a lot more.
But that's all there is to critique, really. Maybe a vehicle or character on the road could add a bit of life to it, but then again that totally depends on what this concept piece is supposed to illustrate.
Am I seeing that correctly, that the buildings are so reflective, that you can see the silhouettes of the mountains in them? Nice attention to detail there
